Job summary

Sodexo on the University of Cincinnati campus seeks a Concessions Supervisor to lead event-based concessions, ensuring fast service, safety and guest satisfaction across stands, kiosks, and portable locations.

The role requires 2–4 years in concessions or food service, prior supervisory experience, and valid alcohol-service certifications (TIPS/TEAM). You will mentor staff, coordinate staffing, and uphold standards during high-volume events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of concessions or food service experience.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Must meet age requirements to supervise alcohol sales.
• Must maintain a valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification.
• A food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee concession stands, kiosks, portable locations, and walk-out or autonomous retail stores as applicable.
• Assign staff to concession locations and adjust coverage based on volume and operational needs.
• Conduct pre-event or pre-shift briefings to review expectations, menus, service standards, and assignments.
• Address guest concerns promptly and elevate issues to management as needed.
• Support onboarding and training of concession staff and leads.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
