Job summary

Disney Live Entertainment in Orlando, FL is seeking an Audio Systems Design Intern for Spring 2027. You will support the Audio System Designers, produce documentation, design intent, and audio drawings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Disney standards.

The role offers hands-on experience with parades, stage shows, and live events, using AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Q-Sys, SMAART, and related tools. Applicants must be enrolled in college, 18+, and available January–June 2027.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn new software applications.
• Familiarity with the Entertainment industry and a creative background.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the Audio System Designers in technical and creative production.
• Produce documentation, design intent, and audio drawings.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Q-Sys Designer, SMAART, and speaker prediction tools.
• Assist with design and technical research.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers and safety/production staff.
• Help with prioritization, organization, and problem-solving during installations.
• Attend Disney Live Entertainment seminars and meetings.
