Job summary

Disney Live Entertainment in Orlando, FL, invites passionate design interns for a Spring 2027 program. You will contribute to internal creative content and learn by shaping gesture grids, organizing audio assets, and creating training materials for show programming.

A strong emphasis on collaboration and storytelling will guide your daily tasks within a dynamic live-entertainment environment. Ideal candidates are theatre, digital media, graphic or creative writing students, 18+ with unrestricted

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university at application time
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Unrestricted work authorization in the U.S.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle
  • Able to commit for the full internship duration (Jan 2027–June 2027) with reliable schedule

Responsibilities

  • Assist in internal creative content development
  • Design gesture grids and logic/bucket mappings
  • Tag and organize audio files for show programming
  • Create supporting materials: presentations, activity guides, videos
  • Produce PowerPoint presentations for training, reviews, stakeholder communication
  • Conduct show file testing to ensure quality and functionality
  • Create asset management workflows

The approximate date of this internship is January 2027 to June 2027, located in Orlando, FL

What You Will Do:
  • Participate in internal creative content
  • Design and develop gesture grids and logic/bucket mappings
  • Tag and organize audio files to support show programming
  • Create supporting materials, including presentations, activity guides, and physicality videos
  • Produce PowerPoint presentations for training, reviews, and stakeholder communication
  • Conduct show file testing to ensure quality, accuracy, and functionality
  • Create asset management workflows
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with effective negotiation skills
  • Highly creative and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working in environments that include a variety of fibers, fabrics, and furs
  • Demonstrated flexibility to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Education:

Major or have previous coursework in Theatre, Digital Media, Graphic or Web Design, or Creative Writing.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Possess a valid U.S. driver's license and have the ability to operate a company vehicle
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

Must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
