Job summary

AEG Worldwide is seeking a Broadcast Technician II in Los Angeles to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex broadcast and digital signage systems on the LA Live Campus. You will monitor equipment, install updates, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance for events and productions, including setup for live broadcasts and video operations.

The role requires strong problem-solving, soldering skills, and knowledge of Windows/macOS.

Qualifications

High School diploma or its equivalency.
Basic electronic troubleshooting skills.
Good soldering skills to apply safe practices.
General knowledge of Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain complex electronic equipment related to broadcast, presentation, and digital signage systems.
Repair or replace any defective components and maintain operation of all equipment.
Monitor status of equipment on the LA Live Campus and resolve system issues.
Install software and firmware updates as directed by the manufacturer.
Perform scheduled maintenance and cleaning per manufacturer guidelines.
Set up and operate broadcasting equipment for events and assist the broadcast team as needed.
