Quilling Selander Lownds Winslett & Moser P C in Indianapolis is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Litigation Team. You will support attorneys handling federal court matters for corporate clients, drafting documents, managing e-files, and coordinating deadlines.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, proficiency with PDF editing and i-Manage, and collaboration with paralegals to move cases forward in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drafts of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, orders, subpoenas, documents for production and draft correspondence to opposing counsel and courts.
• Work with documents in PDF format and edit PDF documents.
• File documents in federal and state courts and mail documents when necessary.
• Calendar deadlines and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Maintain and organize case files in i-Manage, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
• Communicate with attorneys and paralegals to facilitate case progress.
• Schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
