Job summary

Nautilus Insurance Group seeks a Litigation Specialist to efficiently handle advanced-level, primarily litigated, commercial third-party general liability losses in a paperless environment. This role can be located in Scottsdale, AZ, or remotely for a highly qualified candidate.

Responsibilities include reviewing and setting up new loss assignments, evaluating reserves, and drafting complex coverage correspondence.

• Experience handling advanced-level, primarily litigated, commercial third-party general liability losses.

• Handle advanced-level, primarily litigated, commercial third-party general liability losses in a paperless environment.
• Possibly located in Scottsdale, AZ, or remote for highly qualified candidates.
• Review and set up new loss assignments in a timely manner per guidelines.
• Evaluate reserves and ensure adequacy per reserving guidelines.
• Analyze policy language with loss facts to reach coverage decisions.
• Draft coverage correspondence including reservation of rights and applicable disclosures.
• Manage outside vendors including defense and coverage counsel, experts, and adjusters.
• Present loss facts and issues in discussions with peers and management.
• Produce Large Loss Reports and other detailed reporting as needed.
• Maintain records of file activity and strategy in notes.
