CHRISTUS Health in Texas seeks a junior Litigation Attorney to manage all stages of claims and litigation with oversight of two team members. You will respond to claims, draft pleadings, coordinate e-discovery, and liaise with outside counsel to advance settlements and trials.

The role requires a JD with a focus on litigation, 5–10 years of relevant experience, and strong writing and organizational skills to handle complex healthcare matters within a large system.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor with focus on litigation or trial advocacy.
• 5–10 years of legal experience in firm or corporate setting.
• Litigation experience required.

Responsabilités

• Manage all stages of litigation from pre-trial to resolution.
• Direct supervision of a paralegal and claims coordinator.
• Coordinate service of process, filings, subpoenas and discovery.
• Interact with outside counsel and internal clients on discovery projects.
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery responses, and legal holds.
• Attend mediation/trial and support deposition preparation.
• Travel as needed (25-40%).
