Job summary

Trinity Health seeks a senior claims leader to strategize and implement cost-effective management of hospital professional liability, general liability, and employment practices liability claims. The role co-manages uninsured litigation across the system, designs and directs investigation processes, and develops resolution strategies for claims and lawsuits.

The position involves high-level oversight of indemnity reserves, negotiation with defense counsel, and ensuring adherence to TRinity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A clinical health care degree and/or clinical background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and implement cost-effective claims management for Hospital Professional Liability, General Liability, and Employment Practices Liability.
• Direct and coordinate claim investigations, evaluate liability, causation, and damages, and develop resolution strategies.
• Represent Trinity Health in settlements, mediations, and trials while ensuring adherence to policy and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain diaries, update files, and monitor open claims; liaise with leadership on high-exposure matters.
