Job summary

Amtex Insurance in Houston is seeking a Litigation Supervisor to lead the daily management of litigated claims. You will provide technical guidance to Litigation Examiners, oversee defense counsel, and manage reserves, settlements, and high-exposure matters.

You will ensure timely, strategic resolutions and maintain regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of claims experience, Texas adjuster license (or ability to obtain), and strong skills in liability, negotiations, and analysis.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Adjuster License or ability to obtain one.
• At least 5 years of claims experience, preferably in bodily injury/litigated claims.
• Strong knowledge of liability, damages, negotiations, litigation, and reserving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the litigation inventory, ensure timely referrals, deadlines, mediations, and trials.
• Monitor complex, aging, and high-exposure claims and escalate significant issues.
• Review liability, damages, reserves, and settlement strategies.
• Guide examiners on litigation strategy and claim resolution.
• Manage relationships and performance of defense counsel.
• Conduct file reviews for accurate documentation and compliance.
