Boyd & Jenerette, PA in Georgia seeks a dedicated Partner to advance its civil litigation practice, focusing on insurance defense. This role demands exceptional judgment, leadership, and a commitment to client service in a collaborative, high‑performing environment.

Hybrid work options are available; must reside in Georgia. The attorney will draft pleadings, take depositions, oversee case strategy, mentor associates, and manage complex insurance defense matters from intake to trial.

Qualifications

• Georgia Bar Admission required.
• 5+ years of recent insurance defense experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
• Must meet billing goal expectations.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents (pleadings, motions, etc.) for negotiations and proceedings.
• Take depositions, attend hearings, conduct mediation, and represent clients at trial.
• Conduct legal research, assist with preparation for hearings, and provide legal counsel to clients.
• Analyze legal matters, advise clients, and negotiate on their behalf.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain up-to-date client files for easy access by the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
