About the Role

The Litigation Paralegal provides essential support to the firm’s Litigation team and works closely with the litigation attorneys, case manager, and legal assistants to ensure efficient and effective case progression. This role is key in managing personal injury litigation files from pre-suit transition through trial preparation, maintaining accurate case documentation, and supporting the team in delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation cases.
• Day to day responsibilities include case preparation, investigation, preparing pleadings, drafting discovery responses, keeping up with deadlines, and client communication.
• Conduct thorough research, gather evidence, and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys to develop case strategies and maintain open lines of communication with clients.
• Manage and organize case files to maintain accuracy and ensure deadlines are met.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and court personnel.
• Prepare for trials and hearings by organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court orders and procedural requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Litigation Manager to ensure smooth workflow and case efficiency.
• As a growing organization, we often wear multiple hats and may have other assigned responsibilities.
