Job summary

Premier law firm in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Litigation (or Senior) Paralegal to join its Los Angeles headquarters. The role covers the full litigation workflow, legal research and drafting, and trial preparation in a firm that values growth and a congenial hybrid work environment.

You will support attorneys with data collection, subpoenas, discovery, and exhibit coordination, while communicating effectively with lawyers, staff, and clients.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years civil litigation defense in a law firm (AmLaw 100 preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree and/or ABA Paralegal Certificate required.
• Strong software skills incl. MS Office and e-Discovery tools.
• Exceptional communication with attorneys, staff, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Research, gather, and compile data for case preparation and citations.
• Assist with trial preparation including exhibits and witness prep.
• Draft and compile information to support attorneys.
• Prepare and manage subpoenas and hearing prep documents.

Premier international law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation (or Senior) Paralegal to join their Los Angeles headquarter office. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded experience with the flow of the litigation process, complex legal requirements, research and drafting, and also trial preparations. RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Research, gather, and compile data for the preparation of cases, legal documents, case authorities, and legal citations to assist attorneys
• Assisting with trial preparation including exhibits and witness preparations
• Draft and or compile information to assist in drafting a variety of documents to support attorneys
• Prepare and manage subpoenas and other hearing preparation documents
• Assisting with all areas of discovery, including e-Discovery

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3-5+ years of civil litigation defense experience in a law firm; preferably AmLaw 100
• Bachelor's Degree and/or ABA Paralegal Certificate are required
• Strong software skills and knowledge including MS Office, document management software, e-Discovery (Relativity, DISCO,) etc.
• Exceptional communication skills to communicate with attorneys, staff, and clients
