Job summary

AGG Legal Staffing represents a Los Angeles law firm seeking an experienced mid- to senior-level Litigation Paralegal. The role supports attorneys through all stages of litigation, from inception through post-trial, with emphasis on trial prep and document management.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of law firm litigation paralegal experience, a bachelor’s degree (paralegal certificate preferred), and strong research skills using Westlaw and Lexis.

• 7+ years of law firm litigation paralegal experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred. Equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Supports attorneys through all stages of litigation from inception to post-trial.
• Organizes and maintains case files, documents, and case rooms.
• Oversees document review and production, tracking progress and reporting results.
• Conducts document analysis, summarizes records, transcripts, and prepares witness memoranda.
• Conducts legal and factual research using Westlaw and Lexis.
• Supports law and motion practice, including drafting, filing, and serving pleadings.
• Drafts pleadings, motions, notices, and other court filings.
• Ensures compliance with rules and performs cite-checking and proofreading.
• Coordinates trial preparation: exhibits, notebooks, witness schedules, calendars.
• Supports post-trial filings, costs motions, and appellate preparation.
• Maintains accurate daily timekeeping records.

• Supports attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from case inception through post-trial.
• Organizes and maintains case files, documents, and case rooms.
• Oversees document review and production, tracking progress and reporting results.

• Conducts legal and factual research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other resources.
• Supports law and motion practice, including drafting, filing, and serving pleadings and briefs.
• Drafts pleadings, motions, notices, and other court filings.
• Ensures compliance with procedural and evidentiary rules and performs cite-checking and proofreading.
• Coordinates trial preparation, including exhibits, trial notebooks, witness schedules, and trial calendars.
• Supports post-trial filings, cost and sanctions motions, and appellate preparation.
• Maintains accurate daily timekeeping records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
• Law firm experience required; may consider in-house experience from a distinguished litigation group
• 7+ years of law firm litigation paralegal experience, including complex litigation matters.
• Trial experience, including exhibit and witness preparation, subpoenas, coordination with judicial assistants and trial vendors, and in-court support.
