The Recruiting Hive in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys in its litigation practice. This hybrid role blends administrative duties with substantive paralegal work, ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive on being part of a high-performing legal team.

You will prepare pleadings, manage calendars, assist with discovery, and coordinate with clients and courts.

Formación

• 3+ years of litigation support experience in a law firm.
• Knowledge of Louisiana state and federal court rules and e-filing (PACER/CM-ECF).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
• Experience with e-discovery platforms like Relativity.
• Strong organizational and deadline-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional discretion.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, format, and e-file pleadings, motions, and correspondence in state and federal courts.
• Maintain attorney calendars, court deadlines, and docketing.
• Assist with discovery, including organizing large document productions.
• Prepare deposition, hearing, and trial materials and exhibits.
• Track case documents such as contracts and project records.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and experts.
• Manage timekeeping, billing support, and expense reporting.
• Handle general administrative support for multiple attorneys.
