Your Talent Team, a well-established regional law firm in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys in its litigation practice. This hybrid role blends administrative tasks with substantive paralegal work for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-performing team.

You will prepare pleadings, manage calendars, handle discovery, and assist with trial materials, while coordinating with clients and courts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation support experience in a law firm.
• Knowledge of Louisiana state and federal court rules and e-filing (PACER/CM-ECF).
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
• Excellent organization with ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Polished written and verbal communication.
• Discretion, professionalism, and proactive approach.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, format, and e-file pleadings, motions, and correspondence in state and federal courts.
• Maintain attorney calendars, court deadlines, and docketing.
• Assist with discovery, including organizing and managing large document productions.
• Prepare deposition, hearing, and trial materials and exhibits.
• Track case documents such as contracts, change orders, and project records.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and experts.
• Manage timekeeping, billing support, and expense reporting.
• Provide general administrative support for multiple attorneys.
