Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP seeks an experienced paralegal to join the Commercial and Professional Lines Defense Team in Red Bank, NJ. You will support attorneys across all phases of litigation, drafting pleadings, organizing discovery, and preparing trial materials in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience, a paralegal certificate or degree, and strong knowledge of state and federal procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in insurance defense or professional liability matters.
• Paralegal certificate or degree is required.
• Proficiency with litigation support software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with case management from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and organize pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Prepare deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial materials.
• Coordinate and manage document production, including collection, review, and organization of records.
• Conduct factual investigations and legal research.
• Communicate with clients, experts, courts, and opposing counsel regarding case-related matters.
• Track deadlines and maintain litigation calendars to ensure compliance with court rules and scheduling orders.
• Manage electronic and physical case files.
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit organization, witness coordination, and courtroom support.
• Collaborate with attorneys and team members to effectively manage complex matters.
