Qualifications

• 3+ years of complex insurance defense litigation experience.
• Knowledge of Federal and State Rules.
• Experience drafting pleadings and motions.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in complex state and federal cases from pleadings through trial.
• Perform initial case assessments to determine discovery needs.
• Draft pleadings, scheduling orders, and motions for state and federal courts.
• Draft discovery requests and responses; prepare voluminous records and privilege logs.
• Interpret and summarize medical records and bills.
• Prepare subpoenas for records; coordinate with experts and witnesses.
• Schedule meetings, depositions, and mediations; assist with trial readiness.
• Meet a billing requirement of 140 hours per month; assist with trial notebooks and exhibits.
