Job summary

AMS Staffing Inc. is seeking a Litigation Paralegal in New York City to support attorneys and case teams through all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation. The role offers a hybrid schedule after an initial training period up to 90 days.

The candidate will review pleadings, manage documents, and assist with e-discovery using Relativity or similar tools. 3–5 years of litigation experience and an Associate’s degree or paralegal certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must have Associate’s Degree or Paralegal Certification; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ Litigation experience; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience with e-discovery (Relativity or similar) is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and draft discovery requests, responses, subpoenas, notices, and court pleadings.
• Identify, collect, and organize factual evidence, including deposition and trial exhibits.
• Create organizational systems and annotated binders for case documents.
• Conduct document reviews and prepare document productions.
• Maintain familiarity with court filing procedures and local rules.
