Job summary

Vedder Price P.C. in New York seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys from case inception to resolution. You will manage eDiscovery with the eDiscovery team and assist in preparing pleadings, motions, and depositions, while coordinating with outside vendors and court personnel.

The role requires at least 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, an ABA-approved certificate preferred, and comfort with overtime and travel. Hybrid schedule with three days in-office.

Qualifications

• ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong research, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with litigation support software (Relativity, Everlaw, Opus2 Magnum, Adobe).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; willing to work overtime and travel.
• Hybrid role requiring at least three days in the office.

Responsibilities

• Participate in client and witness interviews and investigations.
• Coordinate background/public records searches and bio summaries.
• Analyze documentary evidence and prepare chronologies and timelines.
• Coordinate with vendors and eDiscovery personnel.
• Assist with proofreading, cite checks, and legal research.
