Job summary

Vantage Legal Services in Atlanta, near Emory University, seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a boutique plaintiff firm. This is an in-office role with substantial case ownership on high-value matters.

The paralegal will manage cases from intake to trial, coordinate with clients, attorneys, experts, and investigators, and handle discovery, filings, and trial preparation in Georgia and federal courts.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in plaintiff-side cases.
• Strong knowledge of Georgia state and federal court procedures.
• Proficiency with discovery, pleadings, subpoenas, and trial prep.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Manage active litigation files from intake through trial.
• Communicate regularly with clients about case status and medical records.
• Conduct client intake for serious injury and related matters.
• Coordinate with attorneys, experts, investigators, and court personnel.
• Prepare and track discovery, subpoenas, and document production.
• E-file pleadings in Georgia and federal courts.
• Assist with trial prep, including notebooks, exhibits, and deadlines.
• Monitor deadlines and coordinate depositions, mediations, and hearings.
