Job summary

King & Siegel LLP is seeking an experienced paralegal with 3+ years of substantive civil litigation experience to support 1-2 attorneys across 25-35 matters in California state and federal courts. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, managing deadlines, coordinating discovery, and communicating with clients to move cases forward.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal
• Excellent Microsoft Word/Office skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage deadlines across 30+ cases
• High attention to detail
• Reliable, professional, and responsive

Responsibilities

• Calendar and track deadlines using legal calendaring software
• Prepare, review, and organize pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
• Coordinate service of process, subpoenas, and document productions
• Communicate with clients to collect documents and provide case status updates
• Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Maintain organized case files and ensure documents are properly named and filed
• Prepare legal documents from firm templates and populate facts from case records
• Coordinate with vendors including court reporters, process servers, and records services
• Assist with trial preparation as needed
