Job summary

Levin Papantonio in Pensacola is seeking a full-time paralegal to support Attorneys throughout the litigation process. Local candidates or those planning to relocate to the Pensacola area are preferred.

The ideal candidate will perform many tasks from case initiation to completion, and will contribute to a collaborative legal team. The firm emphasizes a broad practice with experience in personal injury and related claims nationwide.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of paralegal/legal work experience.
• Oversee procedures and manage workflow among a litigation team.
• Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong research, writing and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills, Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze law sources such as statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions and codes.
• Assist with drafting, reviewing and finalizing correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery and other documents for trial.
• Attend trials acting as an assistant to the Attorney(s) during court proceedings.
• Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices.
• Assist in depositions, witness preparation and research.
• Arrange/partake in client interviews while obtaining case-related information.
• Manage a department/team of support staff, act as a liaison between the team & the Attorney(s).
• Maintain and manage client files.
• Routine office duties.
