The ideal candidate has 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience, a solid understanding of state and federal court procedures, and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience with complex commercial matters.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and filing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of complex commercial litigation from inception to appeal.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other documents.
• Manage document discovery, production, and privilege logs.
• Coordinate depositions, trials, and related scheduling with vendors.
• Maintain case files, calendars, and litigation databases to ensure deadlines.

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our elite commercial litigation team. This is a high-profile firm with gorgeous offices located in SW Austin as well other states across the US, with offices nationwide. You will work alongside attorneys on every phase of complex commercial litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal, supporting matters involving multi-million-dollar business disputes, breach of contract claims, fiduciary litigation, trade secret matters, partnership disputes, and other complex commercial cases.

About the Role

This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment handling sophisticated, high-exposure disputes.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of complex commercial litigation, including pre-suit investigations, discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal.
• Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, notices, subpoenas, and other legal documents in both state and federal courts.
• Manage all aspects of document discovery, including collection, organization, review, production, and privilege logs.
• Coordinate and oversee large-scale document productions using litigation support and eDiscovery platforms.
• Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and litigation databases to ensure compliance with court rules and scheduling orders.
• Conduct factual investigations and legal research to support case strategy and trial preparation.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials, including scheduling witnesses, court reporters, videographers, and experts.
• Assist with trial preparation by organizing exhibits, witness files, demonstrative evidence, trial notebooks, and electronic presentation materials.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, court personnel, and vendors.
• Review and analyze business records, financial documents, contracts, and other complex evidence.
• Monitor litigation deadlines and proactively identify upcoming tasks and potential issues.
• Assist with appellate filings and record preparation when necessary.
• Maintain strict confidentiality while managing highly sensitive client matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
• Minimum of 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with substantial experience supporting complex commercial litigation matters.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules, filing procedures, and litigation processes.
