Job summary

Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our elite commercial litigation team in SW Austin. The role supports attorneys through all phases of complex commercial disputes, including multi‑million‑dollar matters, with a strong emphasis on discovery, filings, and trial prep.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience, a solid understanding of state and federal court procedures, and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
• Minimum of 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience with complex commercial matters.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and filing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of complex commercial litigation from inception to appeal.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other documents.
• Manage document discovery, production, and privilege logs.
• Coordinate depositions, trials, and related scheduling with vendors.
• Maintain case files, calendars, and litigation databases to ensure deadlines.
