Job summary

Qualifications

• Draft and format correspondence, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Review documents: organize, analyze, and summarize records and discovery materials.
• Conduct legal research for case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to active matters.
• Assist with pleadings and motions: draft, cite-check, assemble exhibits, and coordinate court filings.
• Maintain strong organization and time-management across multiple cases and deadlines.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient with litigation support software, document management systems, and Office apps.
• Experience in a litigation-focused law firm or legal department preferred.
• Paralegal certificate or degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file litigation documents, including pleadings and discovery.
• Organize and manage case files, calendar deadlines, and milestones.
• Assist attorneys with research, cite-checking, and exhibit preparation.
• Coordinate with courts, clients, and opposing counsel on routine matters.
• Support e-discovery processes and document review workflows.
• Utilize litigation software and MS Office to support casework.

We're seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal for our Seattle office. This position supports multiple attorneys and would preferably have experience in the areas of construction defect, product liability, personal injury, business litigation, and/or complex multi-party cases. Candidates should be self-motivated, have excellent organizational and proofreading skills, possess good understanding and working experience with e-discovery, and be capable of multi-tasking.
