Job summary

Recruitometry is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Seattle-based litigation team, supporting attorneys on complex matters from discovery through trial preparation.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years of litigation paralegal experience, strong legal research skills, and proficiency with electronic discovery platforms to ensure accurate, confidential handling of case materials.

Litigation Paralegal

About the Role

A well-established multi-specialty law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its litigation practice in Seattle, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional with at least 4 years of litigation paralegal experience who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting attorneys on complex matters.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive litigation support across case preparation, discovery, legal research, document management, witness coordination, and trial preparation while working closely with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, experts, and litigation vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, stipulations, discovery requests and responses, complaints, demand letters, and other legal documents.
• Communicate professionally with clients, potential clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, court reporters, court officials, vendors, and other parties.
• Identify, locate, and assist with interviewing relevant witnesses and experts.
• Investigate cases by requesting, reviewing, organizing, and analyzing relevant documents and factual information.
• Conduct legal research and locate relevant cases, opinions, reports, and other legal authorities.
• Work with ESI vendors to coordinate the collection, review, processing, and production of electronic discovery.
• Review, organize, and assist with discovery productions using electronic document review and production platforms.
• Summarize legal documents, medical records, employment records, and other case materials.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files and litigation materials.
• Assist attorneys with trial, pretrial, hearing, and motion preparation.
• Track case deadlines and ensure litigation tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide general litigation support while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong experience supporting attorneys with pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Experience with electronic discovery, document review platforms, and ESI vendors.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior proofreading and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ability to analyze documents, identify relevant facts, and assist with case development.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple attorneys and staff members in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong academic credentials are preferred.
