Job summary

Talently seeks an experienced litigation paralegal to support attorneys handling personal injury and general liability defense matters. The role requires managing cases from inception through trial in a hybrid Seattle setting, with potential remote work up to two days per week based on business needs.

Ideal candidates will have trial preparation experience, advanced eDiscovery knowledge (Everlaw, Nextpoint), and strong organizational skills to coordinate with attorneys and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing for and attending trials, hearings, mediations, or arbitrations.
• Advanced eDiscovery knowledge with platforms like Everlaw or Nextpoint.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures and case management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain organized systems for case materials, documents, and evidence.
• Review and analyze pleadings, correspondence, records, and other case materials.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, chronologies, and indices under attorney direction.
• Prepare and manage exhibits and witness files for depositions, hearings, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Manage eDiscovery databases, discovery workflows, and document production.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, and other parties to obtain and share case information.
• Provide end-to-end case management and trial support while coordinating with attorneys and team members.
• Track time and bill accurately using timekeeping software while maintaining client confidentiality.

• Familiarity with Orion, LiquidFiles, Westlaw OnePass, CourtTrax, ExpertTime, DM, NetDocuments, Kofax, or Power PDF.
• Knowledge of case economics and litigation budgeting practices.
• Experience managing complex evidence and discovery workflows from case inception through trial.
