Job summary

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in Washington, strong research skills, and proficiency with Westlaw or Lexis.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting complex civil litigation
  • Ability to lead large discovery or case-management projects
  • Strong written communication and proofreading skills
  • Knowledge of court procedures and litigation terminology

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day progression of complex cases and manage deadlines
  • Create systems to organize case information, evidence, and attorney work product
  • Lead discovery projects including collecting, reviewing, organizing, and producing large volumes of documents
  • Coordinate work across internal teams, outside counsel, experts, clients, and third-party providers
  • Research legal and factual issues and summarize findings for case development
  • Review briefs and pleadings for accuracy and compliance with court requirements
  • Prepare exhibits, chronologies, witness materials, and deposition documents
  • Support filing and service requirements in federal and state courts
  • Help litigation teams prepare for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Hybrid - 4 days remote/1 day on-site after 30-day training period

Salary: $110,000-$120,000

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a nationally recognized plaintiff-side law firm seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its Seattle office. This is an excellent opportunity to support sophisticated, high-impact litigation involving areas such as consumer protection, product liability, financial fraud, securities, environmental claims, antitrust, and employee benefits.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience supporting complex matters in federal and state courts and be comfortable taking ownership of large, detail-intensive projects. This role is well suited for a proactive paralegal who enjoys coordinating case strategy, managing discovery, and helping litigation teams stay organized from initial investigation through trial.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day progression of complex cases and keep key assignments, deadlines, and deliverables on track
  • Create practical systems for organizing case information, evidence, research, and attorney work product
  • Lead discovery-related projects, including collecting, reviewing, organizing, and producing large volumes of electronic documents
  • Coordinate work across internal legal teams, outside counsel, experts, clients, and third-party service providers
  • Research legal and factual issues and summarize findings for use in case development and motion practice
  • Review briefs, pleadings, and supporting materials for accuracy, citations, formatting, and compliance with court requirements
  • Prepare exhibits, chronologies, witness materials, deposition documents, and other substantive case resources
  • Support filing and service requirements in federal and state courts
  • Help litigation teams prepare for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Anticipate project needs, troubleshoot workflow issues, and recommend solutions that improve efficiency
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in Washington state
  • Background supporting sophisticated or document-intensive civil litigation
  • Experience handling matters in both federal and state courts
  • Demonstrated ability to lead substantial discovery, document review, or case-management projects
  • Strong legal and factual research skills with excellent written communication and proofreading abilities
  • Working knowledge of legal citation standards, court procedures, and litigation terminology
  • Proficiency with Westlaw, Lexis, and e-discovery or document review platforms
  • Experience assisting with depositions, hearings, or trial preparation
  • Ability to take ownership of projects while working collaboratively with a broader legal team
  • Strong judgment, initiative, and follow-through when addressing shifting priorities or urgent requests
  • Highly organized and able to maintain accuracy across multiple active matters

  • Personal Time Off (PTO) is accrued at:
    • 15 days per year (three weeks)

  • Transportation/Commuter Benefit: monthly onsite stipend ($50-$250) or paid transit/parking for designated full-time onsite employees
  • Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance

Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
