Location
San Diego, CA. This is a fully on-site position in downtown San Diego with free parking provided.
Note
Candidates must have a paralegal certificate or equivalent qualification, 2+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience, and hands-on experience working with local San Diego courts. A four-year degree is preferred.

Job Description
- Support attorneys through all stages of civil litigation, from case opening through discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial
- Draft, prepare, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and other legal documents
- Manage document productions and assist with drafting and responding to written discovery
- Review, organize, summarize, and maintain case documents and evidence
- Prepare deposition page and line summaries and organize materials for attorney review
- Maintain litigation calendars, court deadlines, hearing dates, and case schedules
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, meetings, and trials with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
- Conduct factual investigations and gather relevant case information
- Prepare witness lists, exhibit lists, trial materials, and other litigation support documents
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical case files
Qualifications
- 2+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent qualification required
- Experience with San Diego courts and local filing procedures required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of California civil litigation procedures, court rules, discovery, and filing requirements
- Excellent organization, proofreading, written communication, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a litigation environment
