Confidential Employer in Southern California seeks an experienced paralegal to support civil and business litigation, handling discovery, court filings, and case organization alongside seasoned attorneys.

This role offers ownership of substantive case support, calendar management, document management, and preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials, with a collaborative team and strong client service focus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in litigation.
• Experience with discovery, document production, and case management.
• Familiarity with California court procedures, filings, and deadlines.
• Strong organizational, proofreading, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all phases of civil and business litigation.
• Assist with discovery requests, responses, subpoenas, document productions, and case materials.
• Prepare and coordinate California state and federal court filings and e-filings.
• Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, case files, and document management systems.
• Organize and summarize records, deposition transcripts, exhibits, and other evidence.
• Assist with deposition, mediation, arbitration, hearing, and trial preparation.
• Conduct factual and legal research related to active matters.
• Draft and proofread correspondence, notices, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, experts, courts, and outside vendors.
• Help ensure cases move efficiently while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Note

We are looking for an experienced paralegal with a strong law firm background. Candidates with 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience and hands-on exposure to discovery, court filings, case management, and litigation support are strongly preferred.
