Job summary

TrueSeek, a Philadelphia-based legal services firm, is seeking an experienced General Liability Paralegal to support defense matters across commercial motor vehicle, premises liability, construction, and product liability. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of insurance defense paralegal experience, excels at independent case management, and is proficient with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, and Excel.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years of insurance defense litigation paralegal experience with proven ability to independently handle and manage attorney case portfolios.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred.
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment, proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage discovery materials including preparing subpoenas and summarizing depositions, discovery responses, and medical records with complete accuracy and efficiency
• Coordinate Independent Medical Examinations by scheduling notices confirming appointments gathering records and monitoring critical deadlines with strong follow-up execution
• Prepare motions addressing discovery issues and assist with general motion practice while working independently on assigned matters
• Conduct research activities including verdict searches docket searches and background investigations while proactively managing attorney caseloads
