Job summary

Trustpoint.One in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join its team and work closely with a top-performing attorney on complex Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice litigation from inception through trial.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of legal experience, a deep knowledge of the Philadelphia court system, and strong organizational and communication skills. Hybrid work arrangement in Philadelphia with access to firm resources.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of legal experience required.
• Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice experience required.
• Experience in complex litigation.
• Strong knowledge of the Philadelphia court system.
• Experience managing cases through all phases of litigation.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses.
• E-filing and court filings.
• Legal research.
• Deposition and discovery support.
• Trial preparation and experience attending trials.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support an attorney on complex Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice matters from inception through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses.
• Coordinate deposition scheduling and discovery coordination.
• Conduct legal research and organize case files and deadlines.
• Assist with trial preparation and attend trials as needed.
