Goetz Platzer LLP, a dynamic, mid-sized full-service law firm with an impeccable reputation, seeks an experienced paralegal with a minimum of 10 years of experience in collections and case management.

A paralegal who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to push matters through efficiently will be successful in this role. The candidate must have experience with case intake, case organization, and collections work, and be able to manage a high volume of cases. Strong organizational and follow-up skills are essential. Responsibilities will include managing case intakes, organizing case files and documentation, tracking collections matters, following up with clients and opposing parties, and assisting attorneys with case preparation.

The ideal candidate will manage a high volume of case intakes, organize and maintain case files, and push collections matters forward to resolution. This individual must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to efficiently track multiple cases, follow up persistently on outstanding matters, and communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and opposing parties.

Annual base salary is $75,000 to $85,000 (the exact amount of salary for this position is determined by experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors). In addition to base salary, the firm offers an annual discretionary bonus, paid time off (including vacation, sick leave, and personal days in accordance with firm policy), medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan (employee-only contribution plan), and a pre-tax transportation benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong background in paralegal work with experience in case intake, case management, and collections
• Ability to manage high volume of cases efficiently
• Experience in managing case intakes, organizing case documentation, and tracking collections matters
• Excellent follow-up and communication skills for pushing collections forward
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, track case deadlines, and maintain organized case files
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills - critical for managing high volume caseload
• Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to push collections matters through to completion and resolution
• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent paralegal certification
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
