Ascendion is seeking a Paralegal for a growing law firm that handles complex matters across multiple jurisdictions. The candidate should have 2+ years of experience and be proficient in discovery, medical summaries, updating adjusters, subpoenas, and legal research tools.

Responsibilities include managing 30 hours of weekly billables, handling up to 50 cases as you ramp up, performing due diligence, lien and UCC searches, and preparing federal, state, and local filings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of paralegal experience.
• Experience with discovery, medical summaries, updating adjusters, subpoenas.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and data rooms.
• Ability to manage multiple complex transactions under tight deadlines.

We are working with a growing Law Firm, looking to bring on a Paralegal to join their team. Specifically, they are looking for someone with 2+ years of experience.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience
• Prior experience with discovery, medical summaries, updating adjusters, subpoenas
• Advanced proficiency in legal research tools, document management platforms, and data room management (e.g., Intralinks, Firmex).
• Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex transactions under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Weekly billables 30 hours a week
• Handle 50 cases at a time, once you are ramped up
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence research, perform lien and UCC searches, and prepare federal, state, and local regulatory filings (including Secretary of State filings and annual reports).
• Draft, review, and organize basic contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), closing certificates, and officer certificates.

The annual salary for this position is between 65k-75k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
