Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with at least 2 years of experience assisting attorneys with case management, document review, legal research, and trial preparation. This role supports all phases of litigation and requires strong research, organizational, and communication skills, along with proficiency in legal software tools.
Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist in document review, organization, and preparation of privilege logs.
- Conduct legal and factual research; cite checking, Bluebooking, and Shepardizing.
- Support deposition preparation, including digesting transcripts and organizing exhibits.
- Prepare and proofread court filings, briefs, and related legal documents.
- Maintain case files, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
- Review and track court dockets (both electronically and in person).
- Assist with witness interviews and communications.
- Create and manage legal presentations and documents using Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Nuance.
- Maintain calendars and support attorney scheduling.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, reporting, correspondence, and client communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of litigation experience.
- Strong academic background and excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Proficiency with legal tools including iManage, Westlaw, and Nexis.
- Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new software tools and platforms.
Compensation: $70,000 - 80,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
