Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Legal Assistant to support the Litigation Team. The role demands professionalism, organization, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks for healthcare-related matters.

Responsibilities include processing subpoenas, coordinating discovery, supporting NSA Act cases, travel, expenses, and reporting, with a focus on accurate, timely deliverables and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal support experience with subpoena processing and small claims litigation.
• 2+ years of research experience.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the litigation matter intake process and track matters in Legal Tracker.
• Independently manage subpoenas and records requests from state/government agencies.
• Support in-house attorneys on NSA Act cases and other admin proceedings.
• Coordinate discovery, issue legal holds, manage document/data collections, and track deadlines.
• Coordinate limited travel arrangements, process expense reimbursements, and manage settlement check requests.
• Prepare and distribute litigation matter reports for case management and reporting.
