LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm in Orlando, Florida that is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized legal professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.
Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys.
Draft, revise, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, correspondence, and legal documents.
Prepare and file documents in state and federal courts, including electronic filing.
Maintain attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, and case schedules.
Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, client meetings, and conference calls.
Open, organize, and maintain electronic and physical case files.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and case-related communications.
Prepare hearing, mediation, arbitration, and trial materials.
Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, court personnel, and vendors.
Assist with billing, time entry, expense reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed.
3+ years of legal assistant experience in a litigation environment.
Employment law experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of Florida court rules, procedures, and e-filing systems.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal document management systems.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff.
