Job summary

Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP is seeking an experienced Knowledge Management Attorney to join the firm in any of its office locations. The KM attorney captures, organizes, develops, and scales FMG’s litigation knowledge to improve quality, consistency, efficiency, collaboration, and client service.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
• Minimum of three years of substantive litigation practice.
• Strong understanding of litigation strategy, workflows, and matter management.
• Interest in knowledge management and legal technology; KM/legal-tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with litigation leaders to identify and execute KM initiatives.
• Develop and maintain high-quality litigation resources and templates.
• Capture knowledge from active and completed matters and debriefs.
• Organize precedents with metadata and governance practices.
• Improve workflows across the matter lifecycle and promote efficiency.
• Deliver training and just-in-time guidance for attorneys.
• Evaluate and integrate legal AI tools for appropriate use cases.
• Promote adoption of KM resources and measure usage and impact.
