Witherite Law Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Demand Writer to draft, edit, and finalize liability, PIP, and UIM demand letters. You will synthesize medical records, police reports, and witness statements to support cases and deadlines.

The role collaborates with attorneys and litigation teams, maintains an organized archive of drafts, and ensures adherence to AP and AMA style guidelines. A Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field is required with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field.
• Previous AP style knowledge preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Professional appearance and behavior.

Responsibilities

• Draft demand letters for liability, PIP, and UIM using all available and relevant data.
• Summarize and synthesize file documents, including medical records, police reports, witness statements, for incorporation into demands.
• Edit demands and other documents according to AP, AMA, and WLG Style Guide.
• Maintain an accurate archive of edited and unedited drafts.
• Communicate with attorneys and litigation teams to understand case information.
• Support a cooperative team dynamic and stay current on checklists.
• Perform other duties as required.
