Job summary

Storm2 is seeking a Litigation Counsel to own commercial, consumer and IP disputes in a fast-growing trading card marketplace. The role combines hands-on litigation, outside counsel management, consumer disputes, IP protection and risk strategy, with a hybrid California-based schedule.

You will lead IP disputes, draft filings, manage claims, and partner with Legal, Risk and Product to reduce future disputes while guiding business decisions and compliance.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active membership with a U.S. state bar, California Bar required.
• 4+ years of substantive litigation experience, at Senior Associate level or above.
• Strong general litigation experience, including IP and/or commercial litigation.
• Experience handling copyright, trademark and broader IP disputes.

Responsibilities

• Lead IP disputes across trademark, copyright and other brand matters with outside counsel.
• Stay hands-on with litigation: draft complaints, motions, letters, discovery and settlements.
• Manage consumer disputes and arbitration, assess claims, respond to demands, resolve efficiently.
• Reduce disputes by partnering with product, support, marketing, finance and trusts.
• Advise on legal risk and dispute strategy with practical business guidance.
• Build litigation infrastructure: matter tracking, holds, templates and reporting.
