Job summary

Triumph Labs, Inc. is seeking its inaugural Litigation Counsel to lead IP litigation and consumer dispute matters in a fast‑growing tech environment in San Francisco. You will oversee outside counsel, manage arbitration processes, and partner with cross‑functional teams to reduce disputes and strengthen terms.

You’ll drive strategic risk assessments, craft enforcement and defense strategies, and help scale the litigation function from the ground up.

Qualifications

• J.D. and CA bar in good standing.
• 4+ years of litigation experience.
• Substantive IP litigation experience, especially trademarks, copyright.
• Strong writing and persuasive drafting; clear communication with non-lawyers.
• Ability to manage outside counsel and partner with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with consumer arbitration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage IP litigation with outside counsel, including strategy, budgets, staffing, and key filings.
• Draft and file complaints, letters, motions, and settlements; initiate actions to protect Triumph's IP.
• Respond to arbitration and consumer disputes; manage arbitration proceedings.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Support, Marketing, Finance, and Trust & Safety to reduce disputes.
• Advise leadership on litigation exposure and risk management.
• Build and maintain matter tracking, litigation holds, templates, and reporting.
