Job summary

Considine Search is seeking a Litigation Business Development Coordinator in New York to support the firm’s BD department across practice areas such as Antitrust, Labor & Employment, Appellate, Arbitration and General Commercial Litigation.

You will craft client presentations, update client and matter materials, and assist lawyers with research and competitive intelligence. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing/editing, proofreading, grammar and research skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong interest in learning litigation practice areas and a proactive approach to work.
• Ability to handle time-sensitive requests across time zones and produce high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing client presentations (pitch books, brochures and experience lists) to communicate the firm’s experience and reasons for retention.
• Customize materials for target clients or prospects.
• Complete production tasks (editing, fact checking, proofreading) to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare research and supporting materials for client meetings.
• Identify trends by industry, geography and practice area.
• Update and maintain pitch files, collateral, experience lists and databases.
• Maintain a complete record of pitches, meetings, and outreach in the CRM.
• Assist with submissions to league tables and directories; draft reference emails.
• Conduct substantive industry and competitive intelligence research.
