• Demonstrated experience taking depositions, arguing hearings, and attending mediations
• Trial experience preferred
• Proven ability to manage a busy litigation docket independently
• Strong legal writing, case evaluation, and negotiation skills
• Sound judgment under deadline pressure
• A collaborative mindset - this role partners closely with paralegals and support staff

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury litigation docket from filing through trial
• Draft and respond to motions, pleadings, and written discovery
• Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, fact witnesses, and experts
• Appear for hearings and argue motions before the court
• Represent clients at mediations and lead settlement negotiations
• Prepare cases for trial - witness prep, exhibits, expert coordination, trial strategy
• Try cases to verdict when that's in the client's best interest
• Maintain proactive, professional communication with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and court staff
• Own all deadlines, court settings, and case timelines
