Job summary

Orionplacement, a plaintiff personal injury litigation firm in Houston, TX, seeks an attorney to independently manage a PI docket from filing through trial. You will handle motor vehicle, premises liability, and other matters, developing strategy and negotiating settlements with substantial autonomy.

Texas Bar licensure and 2+ years of PI litigation with first/second chair trial experience are required. You will collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and staff to deliver exceptional

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from filing through trial.
• Handle motor vehicle accident, premises liability, and other personal injury matters.
• Develop litigation strategy and evaluate claims.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial materials.
• Serve as first or second chair at trial.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver outstanding client representation.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the litigation process.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year

Location: Houston, Texas (South Houston) — this is a full-time, fully on-site position where you’ll collaborate closely with an experienced litigation team.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Texas and have at least 2 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience, including first or second chair trial experience. Candidates must be able to independently manage litigation files through trial.
