Job summary

Jobot seeks a seasoned Litigation Attorney specializing in Labor & Employment to join our dynamic legal team. The chosen candidate will manage EPLI matters and advise clients on rights and obligations under labor and employment laws.

The role requires strong litigation skills, a JD, and a minimum of seven years of experience in labor and employment disputes. This is a fully remote position with a comprehensive benefits package.

• Minimum 7 years of labor and employment litigation experience.
• Bar admission in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Manage EPLI (Employment Practices Liability Insurance) matters.

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Develop litigation strategies.
• Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws to prevent potential legal disputes.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure effective and efficient case management.
• Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations, and educate clients and colleagues on these changes.

5. 5. Exceptional legal research, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
6. 6. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines.
7. 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
8. 8. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
9. 9. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
10. 10. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
