Jobot, a boutique litigation firm with offices on the east coast, seeks a dynamic Litigation Associate to join their team in a hybrid role—spanning courtroom and boardroom. You’ll manage complex, high-stakes litigation, contribute to strategic direction, and work with a collaborative team.

The position offers a generous package: $130,000-$150,000 base, aggressive bonus structure, 1900 billables, 4 weeks PTO, medical and dental coverage, and a retirement plan with 3% employer match.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience.
• Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania; NJ or NYAdmission is a plus.
• Strong research and writing skills are essential.
• Ability to manage a high caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the litigation process including investigation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, negotiations, settlements, and trial strategy.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and stay updated on laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop legal strategies.
• Provide legal advice to clients and advise on implications of current and future laws and regulations.
• Develop relationships with clients and work to understand their needs and objectives.
• Participate in business development activities including client meetings, conferences, and seminars.

5. Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload and to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal strategies to clients and colleagues.
7. Proven track record of representing clients in court and winning cases.
8. Experience with e-discovery and litigation support tools.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to excellence and high standards.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms.
