Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Litigation Attorney in Virginia Beach, VA, to handle lender-side foreclosure matters for a women-owned firm representing banks and financial institutions. The role offers hybrid or remote flexibility after training, with a competitive compensation package.

Ideal candidates will have a JD, active VA/DC bar status, and at least 3 years of litigation experience focusing on title, bankruptcy, foreclosure, or mortgage banking.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active state bar in DC and/or VA.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney with focus on title, bankruptcy, foreclosure and/or mortgage banking is a plus.
• Drafting and reviewing pleadings to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Proven track record of representing clients effectively in court.
