Jobot is seeking a Litigation Attorney for our Philadelphia, PA or Westmont, NJ (Hybrid) offices to handle lender-side foreclosure matters and broader banking, commercial litigation, and insurance-defense work. The role involves managing all phases of litigation and advising clients in a fast-paced practice with growth opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a JD, 3+ years of experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a proven record in complex litigation.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state and in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney with focus on discovery, courtroom proceedings, drafting legal documents, creditors’ rights, banking, commercial litigation, and insurance defense.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex litigation from start to finish.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
• Represent clients in courtroom proceedings, ensuring their rights and interests are effectively protected.
• Conduct thorough and detailed discovery to gather necessary information and evidence for each case.
• Draft and review various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and other litigation-related documents.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients in the banking sector, focusing on creditors’ rights.
• Handle commercial litigation cases, developing strategies to effectively represent our clients’ interests.
• Defend insurance companies in litigation, understanding and addressing the unique challenges of this sector.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact our clients.
