GPMZ is seeking a Litigation Attorney with up to two (2) years of experience. The firm emphasizes a robust mentorship and training program designed to accelerate learning and development into strong advocates and leaders.

The ideal candidate will independently manage an active docket while collaborating with partners and team members. The role offers a clear path for professional development within an established Texas law firm.

Formación

• JD required; ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• 0–2 years of litigation experience.
• Strong analytical, legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational and management skills with deadlines and detail.
• Desire to independently manage a litigation docket from inception through resolution.
• Interest in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with partners and senior attorneys.
• Manage a docket of litigation matters from evaluation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and reports.
• Oversee written discovery and document production.
• Take and defend depositions within expedited timelines.
• Prepare for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Work with team members on case strategy and leadership for junior staff.
• Mentor junior legal professionals and provide guidance.
