Job summary

Masis Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on litigation experience and a strong understanding of the litigation process from inception through resolution.

The attorney will own assigned matters, work with clients, develop case strategy, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and represent clients throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Bar examination passed on first attempt.
• 3–5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and handle an active caseload of litigation matters.
• Develop case strategy and advance matters through the litigation process.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and other proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding status and strategy.
